More progress on stuff and things

Dance for Animala!
Today brought the sib's contact information, which went into the itinerary file. I need to send it over to the iPad again now that it's complete.

seanthedruid sent me the Eight Winds food plan menu and it looks like, aside from my tea and a few snacky things and juice, I won't really have to take any food things along. This means that I was able to stuff the cooler and the big camp stove back into the garage. I'll just take the single-burner propane stove I use when I don't need more cooking space. Unneeded things went into the camping gear bin that will stay in the living room until I get home and can re-pack what I won't be taking with me to Europe.

All my necessary camping gear went into my duffel bag, except the camp chair and a couple of candle lanterns, and all of that went into Garuda's trunk, so that's ready for Tuesday morning. I've packed about half of what I need for clothing and stuff, cleared up the project I was working on in the living room and stowed the crafts supplies, and put a bunch of research books away. Monday will be a laundry day, so that pretty much everything but what I'm wearing will be clean when I leave on Tuesday morning. Dishes got done. I weighed the bag I'm using as a carryon. It didn't have everything I'll be taking with me to Ireland, but it had a bunch of things in it I won't be taking, and it weighed slightly less than 11 pounds. I think I'll be able to get under the 22 pound weight limit if I consider everything carefully.

Tomorrow I concentrate on reviewing notes and sources for the Brigid and Sarasvati presentation at Eight Winds next weekend. I have to put blindwebster's address into my god of navigation so that I can find her. Directions to the campsite have to be written down in a place where I can find them, since last year the god of navigation attempted to have me drive across a lake to get there. Over the last week, the stress has been aggravating the whole acid reflux thing, which is kind of nasty, but I'm carrying on.

I think tomorrow I'll also put a notice on the pilgrimage email list that I'll be out of town for a week, so if anyone wants to talk to me or ask me questions, they should do so and I'll get back to them once I get home again. I'll have six days at home before I get on the plane for Ireland. Tomorrow is also my last flamekeeping shift before I hit the road. (I need to remember to pack a battery-operated candle so that I can deal with it while I'm in Europe. I may have to go buy one, as I can't find the one I had around here previously.)

Still crazy busy, but that's my life.
