I am having a headache and a vaguely queasy stomach that I should not have. It's not in the usual migraine place, though it feels mostly like one. Sometimes I do get them on the other side of my head so that's probably what's happening.
Some nice things were said about the Mandragora anthology at this blog here.
I have a group tomorrow but am not sure if I'll be feeling well enough to get down to Seattle for it. I wanted to write today but could barely focus enough to read. This is massive suckage. I shall check in with you tomorrow. Hope you're having a better day than me.

I'm a little disappointed with that review. For being as descriptive and poetic as that blog writer was at the beginning, he did not turn his skills toward the same in giving descriptions of (any of) the essays, and his caveats toward that lack of description at the end weren't sufficient in my view either.
[I know part of it is the fact that I'd never in a million years say that my essay is about "the poet's relationship with the Divine," because that particular phrase does nothing for me and doesn't/can't really exist in the polytheistic reality I live in...but, that same phrase could have been written about almost any essay in the book, if he'd been paying attention!]
Speaking of which: I want to write to Ruby Sara and see if she'll be at the EBC next year, so that perhaps we can do a panel with her, you, myself, and perhaps someone else (Slippery Elm?) on poetry.
I'm totally down with doing a panel at EBC if you can get Ruby Sara on board. I can ask Slippery if you want me to. He should be back in BC from Spain by then, I think.
Even if we don't get her, we could have that panel ourselves, with the two of us plus Slippery, and maybe we can see if we can get Orryelle (hmm...!?!), or perhaps Moss, and a few others, too. Moderator and no more than four would be ideal, I think.
(Of course, make sure that Roman isn't listening when you invite him, or anyone else...not that such is likely, given that Roman will probably be talking the whole damn time...!?!)
